an ok stay
river location dining room rude waitress outdated furniture
the hotel location was near the river. the dining room had a nice garden view. the breakfast offered some decent options.
the waitress had a tone when i sent back the wine. she said i would have to pay for it even though it tasted off. the room was outdated. some of the furniture didnt match.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. The grounds are amazing and the location is convenient, right on the riverbank. The food was really good in the restaurant. Breakfast was very good, and the service was friendly.
The cleanliness of our room had some issues. I noticed cobwebs and flies behind the blind. There was also dust on the phone. A gratuity charge was added to our bill, I prefer to decide the amount myself.

i found the location very convenient. my room had a lovely view from the window, overlooking the dining room. the hotel is an excellent building.
the room was in the attic, up a lot of stairs. it was not good for people with disabilities, and i struggled badly. the hotel is definitely not disabled friendly.
